Exhibition and contest "The City I Live in"

Every year we propose to the children from Kaliningrad region to tell about their favourite places in the city using pencils and colours, and then present their works in our museum.

This year, the exhibition and contest will be held in the traditional way – works by participants will be exhibited in one of the museum rooms. You will be able to see them from 1 to 7 June

Usually we have to categories: "Best Drawing" and "Best Painting". And three age groups: junior (6–9 years), middle (10–13 years), and senior (14–17 years). Winners in every category will be announced on 1 June.

Authors of the works distinguished by the jury will get prizes and presents. With the agreement of authors, some works will be chosen for the Children's Drawings and Paintings Collection of the Amber Museum.

We will also propose to guests pf the exhibition to vote for the work they liked. Author of the biggest number of votes will get a special diploma.
