The Night of Museums in the Amber Museum. Programme "Per Aspera Ad Astra"

Annually in May, the intermuseum action "The Night of Museums" is held in Kaliningrad and the region. In 2021 the special programmes in museums of the city will be held from 14 to 15 May.

The Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum, among other museums, is an active member of the project, and in 2021, announced as the Year of Science and Technology in Russia, presents the programme "Per Aspera Ad Astra"dedicated to the space exploration.

On 14 May at 20.00, the individual cycle quest "The Intermuseum Race 4" begins in front of the museum gates. Stages for the tasks are places in the city that are somehow related to the space.

Highlight of the night will be the exhibition "You are Cosmic!", where you can find showpieces inspired by explorations of the Universe and take a picture in the "alien" photo booth. There will be guided tour at the exhibition every hour.

To observe the exposition, guests will be offered to take a quest "On the Orbit".

This night the Amber Museum will be filled with the cosmic atmosphere: in the museum inner yard "extraterrestrial" music will be played by violin and violoncello.

For those who love the rest outdoors, on the territory of the green rampart behind the Amber Museum from 21.00 to 24.00 there is a concert by Kaliningrad cover bands and a food court and interactive "Let's Make the Space Together" is organised. Those, who listed attentively to the guide and observed the showpieces will be able to win some souvenirs from the Amber Museum in a quiz.

The programme is concluded with the fire-show at midnight sharp.
