Results of the contest "Magic of Amber"

Results of the IX Contest of Children's and Youth Creativity "Magic of Amber" have been summed up. This year students of 37 general and art schools of Kaliningrad and from the region submitted over 240 works.

jury of the contest included:

- teacher from the Children Art School of the highest category, Kaliningrad Evgenia Rudenko;
- artist, teacher from the school of fine arts "Happy look" Daria Nosok;
- artist, designer, laureate of the V International Festival of Young Artists' Creativity "Art-sessia" Dmitriy Zabelin;
- artist Evgeniy Klat;
- specialist in educational work from the Amber Museum Maiya Medvedeva.

The works were considered in three age groups – senior, middle and junior, and in two categories – painting and drawing. Beside that jurors awarded some works with special diplomas.

This year name diplomas were established by the deputy director for research Irina Toropova and academic secretary Irina Krivonos.

This year we have also decided to make voting for the Audience Choice Award. Until 3 February all guests of the museum will be able to vote for the work they like, on 4 February we will sum up the results and award one more winner.
