Results of the contest "Magic Word"

For the third time there was the Youth Literary Contest "Magic Word" took place in the Amber Museum, in which students from schools of Kaliningrad and the region of 10-17 years old participated.

Authors were awarded in two age groups – 10-12 years and 13-15 years in the categories "Best poetry" and "Best prose". Also this year a new special category dedicated to the Amber Museum's 40th anniversary – a story on behalf of a showpiece. In each category the jurors chose a laureate, and some works were awarded special diplomas.

The jury included:

Soloviova Valentina, writer, member of the Union of Russian Writers, author of books for children and youth;

Shumakova Milana, document specialist of the Institute of Humanities, member of the Commission on reviewing works written by participants of the regional stage at All-Russian Olympiad of School Students in Literature;

Sedmaia Iulia, records and depository documentation specialist at the Amber Museum;

Medvedeva Maia, educational work specialist at the Amber Museum.
