Results of the youth literary contest "Magic Word"

For the fourth time the Amber Museum holds the youth literary contest "Magic Word" proposing students from city and regional schools to create own works about amber, and today we are ready to announce winners of this year contest.
The jury considered works in two age groups: 10–12 years and 13–15 years. Beside the two main categories – "Best Poetry" and "Best Prose", – a special category "A Story on Behalf of a Showpiece" has been established. In each of them, jurors chose a winner, several works were awarded special diplomas. The Amber Museum has prepared Letters of Gratitude* for the teachers.
Jurors:
Valentina Soloviova, writer, member of the Union of Russian Writers, author of children and youth books;
Milana Shumakova, document specialist of the Institute of Humanities, member of the committee on evaluation of works by participants of the regional stage of the Russian Literary Olympiad for School Students;
Maia Medvedeva, specialist in educational work from the Kaliningrad Regonal Amber Museum.
