Performance of the laureate of international contests trio "GROTESQUE" took place in the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum. There were played pieces written by J.S.Bach, A.Vivaldi, J.Strauss, P.I.Chaikovsky and other great composers, as well as hits of the Russian folk classics. The spectators housed the artists warmly. The musical event was concluded with the "Gypsy" of Belyaev-Tsygankov – hallmark of the collective.
The collective created in 2010 in Yaroslavl consists of laureates of international and interregional contests Anna Abramova (cembalo), Andrey Surta (button accordion), Evgeniy Baulin (stand-up bass balalaika). The ensemble is on tour in Russia and abroad a lot. The Musicians took part in the festive events confined to the 1000-year anniversary of Yaroslavl. In 2011 they performed in the Russian Culture Center "Gzel" (Vienna, Austria), the same year – with the soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Andrey Grigoriev (baritone) at the film festival "Land of our Fathers is My Land" in Krasnodar Krai. Since 2013 the band collaborates with the Russian Center of Science and Culture (Vienna, Austria), Austrian creative association "ART PRO&CONTRA", the Austrian-Russian Friendship Society "ORFG".
"GROTESQUE" is laureate of the International contest festival of folk music in Sevastopol (2013), participant of the several festival in Italy. Repertoire of the ensemble includes classic music from the baroque to romanticism, as well as folk compositions in original interpretations.
