"Favorite Operas"

Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum invites citizens and guests of the city to spend a nice musical evening. The concert "Favorite Operas" takes place on 22 April at 19.00. Ksenia Avramenko and Ksenia Muzykantova will play concert fantasia for flute and pianoforte on the themes of famous operas "Rigoletto", "Orfeo", "Carmen", "Norma", "La Cenerentola".

Ksenia Avramenko was born in Kaliningrad. She graduated from the S.V.Rachmaninov Kaliningrad Musical College, then the V.I.Glinka Nizhniy Novgorod State Conservatory. She participated in many international festivals and concerts in Russia, Poland, Belorussia, Syria; she performed various programs with Russian and foreign organ and piano players; she worked in the Khabarovsk Philharmonic Hall, also taught in the Higher Institute of Music and Center of Russian Culture in Damascus (Syria). In Syria, she performed new programs every month, as with pianoforte and organ, so as a part of quartet. Currently, she teaches in the S.V.Rachmaninov Kaliningrad Musical College, performs vigorous concert activity.

Ksenia Muzykantova was born in Kaliningrad. She graduated from the the S.V.Rachmaninov Kaliningrad Musical College and Belorussian State Musical Academy. She is diploma winner of youth contests, participant of numerous musical festivals. She performed as part of the trio (violin, bass viol, pianoforte). She also took part in the workshops of chamber music within musical festivals in Minsk ("Minsk Spring 2010", "Festival of Arts 2011").
