"Rhythms of Spain"

Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum invites citizens and guests of the city to spend a nice musical evening. On 13 May at 19.00 the concert "Rhythms of Spain" takes place. Classical music pieces for guitar: bulerias, tangos, taranta and, of course, rumba will be played by the Kaliningrad musician Alexey Bachinskiy accompanied by Kristina Bachinskaya.

Alexey Bachinsky is a guitar virtuoso having a lot of concerts both abroad, and in the Kaliningrad oblast including main stages of the city – Kaliningrad Regional Philharmonic Hall, House of Arts, Kaliningrad Regional Dramatic Theater. His concerts in the Amber Museum have become a tradition.

The musician has an extensive repertoire allowing listeners to hear classic guitar, flamenco guitar, finger style and other styles. 

Alexey grew up in the family of musicians. In the age of 16, as most of his age-mates, he was fond of playing guitar. His musical way he started, when he was 18, having entered S.V.Rachmaninov Kaliningrad Musical College, class of Sergey Semenenkov. He graduated from it with honors and continued the study in Minsk, in Belorussian State Academy for Music.

From 2000 to 2006 Alexey Bachinsky was a soloist of the Belorussian State Philharmonic Hall, in 2012 – student of the "Flamenco Workshop" in the Spanish city of Seville. In 2013 he became an award winner of the international contest in Gomel, in 2014 in the same city he won the first prize at the international festival.

Alexey Bachinsky is a teacher in the S.V.Rachmaninov Kaliningrad Musical College. His student – Kristina Bachinskaya (classic guitar) will take part in the concert.
