Opening of the exhibition "Runway"

The solo exhibition of works by the French artist Julie Mares was opened in the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum on 14 September. Mademoiselle Mares brought her new collection. It includes accessories and costumes decorated not only with Swarovski crystals and beads, but also with our main treasure – the Baltic gem. It, as the main character, is in the centre of composition, the rest of the decoration appears around it. For the clothing, headdresses and jewellery the artist used natural Arpin wool, which surprisingly suites the light and warm amber.

As Julie told us, she is going to enrich this costumes collection and hopes to exhibit it in France.
