Modern bead weaving

On 4 April the new exhibition "The Shine of Beads" was opened in the museum. There are works by Kaliningrad master Viktoria Bobrova – necklaces, earrings, hand-made leather bags embroidered with beads. AT the opening ceremony the artist mentioned that the modern bead weaving includes a lot of various techniques – gold embroidery, stitchcreaft. For her works she uses only beads from Czech glass including vintage ones, some of the items are decorated with 24-karat gold, pearls, semi-precious stones.

There are works showing development of the master's individual manner in working with beads by Viktoria Bobrova for the five recent years. We are inviting you to the exhibition until 12 May.
