Students Friday in the Amber Museum

On 27 November the traditional Students Friday took place in the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum, this time titled "Contemporary Exotica".
The programme started with the meet-the-artist session with leader of the Kaliningrad dance studio "AMBER TRIBE" Marina Lyatun. She told visitors about origin of the contemporary dance style with elements of ethnical Eastern dances and about development of the TRIBAL dance style. Then followed the story of costume and accessories as an essential part of a stage image and authentic and contemporary jewellery collection show from the AMBER TRIBE dance studio.
Then there was a master class in marine rubble painting in pointing technique based on mandalas, mantra, yantra patterns. The Students Friday programme was concluded with performance of AMBER TRIBE studio dancers accompanied by darbuka and jembe (drummer Valentin Kuznetsov – leader of the folk-rock duet "Chanahgurd").
On this day student groups over five persons got 50% discount for ticket to the museum. All-comers took part in the draw of the certificated for free admission to the classes in the dance studio "AMBER TRIBE".
